black tea, pu-erh tea
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- at a boil
- steep for 3-5 minutes
oolong tea
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- heat water to just below a boil (approx. 190°F)
- steep for 3-5 minutes
green tea
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- below a boil (175°F)
- steep for 1-3 minutes
white tea
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- below a boil (180°F)
- steep for 3-5 minutes
herbal, fruit & wellness tisanes
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- at a boil
- steep for 5-10 minutes
rooibos
- one rounded teaspoon (12 oz cup)
- at a boil
- steep for 5-10 minutes
iced tea
- 2 tsp - 1 tbsp
- at a boil
- steep teas to maximum suggested time (3-5 minutes)
- steep tisanes (fruit/herbal) for 10+ minutes.
- make a concentrate by steeping ⅔ amount of water you would use in a typical cup of tea
- sweeten as desired
- top with iced cubes
tea latte
- 2 tsp - 1 tbsp
- heat to maxium water temperature for tea type
- steep teas or rooibos to maximum suggested time
- make a concentrate by steeping ⅓ amount of water you would use in a typical cup of tea
- sweeten to taste
- top with steamed or cold dairy/ice
*some fruit tisanes are not suitable for lattes due to high acidity levels
